My repair pricing starts at $99 for cleaning and maintenance, $119 for serger timing, $139 for tension and mechanical repair (tension problems, jamming, uneven seams), and $199 for the Full Service Package (timing + deep cleaning + inspection — a $19 savings vs buying them separately). There is a $50 diagnostic fee when you drop off your machine, which is applied toward your repair. Most common repairs fall in the $99–$199 range. All quotes are provided upfront before work begins.

All repairs include a warranty on parts and labor. Warranty terms vary by service type — typically 90 days for most repairs. I'll communicate the specific warranty for your repair at the time of service. If any issue arises related to the repair I performed, I'll fix it. I stand behind my work and want you to be completely satisfied with your machine's performance.

Timing refers to the precise synchronization of the moving parts inside your machine — on a serger, the upper and lower loopers with the needles; on a standard sewing machine, the needle and hook assembly. When timing is off, you may notice skipped stitches, thread breaking, unusual noise, or the machine not forming stitches at all. Timing typically drifts over time with regular use and should be checked annually. My timing service starts at $119.

Yes — I charge a $50 diagnostic fee when you drop off your machine. This fee is applied toward your repair if you choose to proceed, so it's not an extra cost. I keep the fee low so it's accessible to everyone while ensuring I dedicate my full time and expertise to customers who are serious about getting their machine fixed. Upload photos of your machine first and I'll provide a detailed quote before any work begins.

Bring your machine, power cord, foot pedal, and any accessories you normally use. If you have specific thread or fabric that was giving you trouble, bring those too so I can test with your actual materials. Remove any personal items from the carrying case. A list of specific issues you've noticed helps me diagnose faster.
